Train sketch straight in ballpoint.
I've recently been reading Guyver manga. (Mostly because of ~Aiuke
's pretty fan art) And being the nerd I am I can't help but draw parallels between it and Transformers, at least as far as the visual look goes. It seems they both follow the same basic breakdown, but where Transformers are made of squares and blocky shapes, Guyver is all round, organic shapes. So I had to play with that a little. And Optima, my own personal interpretation of Optimus Prime as a female, is still my favored Transformers muse. And I must say, she came out looking nice.
Takaya Yoshiki seems to have a thing for those strange, eye-like orbs, though I admit I might have gone just a little overboard with them.
EDIT: Now in color. I couldn't decide whether I liked the raw lines or the colored version better, so I slapped them both on and called it good. It's 00:35 around here, gimme a break.
