Questionable Drink

Has it ever happened to you that some pictures just slap themselves on your subconcious and won't leave you alone till they're drawn?

I really don't understand this thing at all. For one, I was feeling happy, almost bubbly at the time I drew this, how did it turn out so dark? And why does the water turn to blood after I drink it? Why did I draw myself as a weird black and red-striped catgirl? And how the hell do I actually know that the kitty depicts me?

Blah, like I've said before, I just work here, the muses do all the big decisons. Also one of my quickest (decent-looking) colorings, about 2 hours from sketch to this.
