Dax or Daxter sidestory- ApartApart

Jak crouched on the bare rock in front of the cave’s entrance, staring gloomily in the distance, where the city’s outline rose from its self-produced veil of smog.

His elbows rested on his knees, hands hanging between them, relaxed save for an occasional involuntary twitch. Bright blue eyes were narrowed just slightly, not giving in to the urge to glare at the distant cause of annoyance but unable to remain neutral either.

The worldlier of his “teammates” were quite strongly reminded of a predator that was watching prey that was out of reach. To the rest he just looked kind of broody and scary.

Hell hath no fury like a woman ignored.

Did you know there was a time when I though that huge ears like those looked totally dopey? But of course, that was pre-Jak... And honestly, I'm glad that I changed my mind, cause they are so gosh-darn much fun to draw!

Nope, not Jak. I just sucked at designing original characters back then, so he ended up looking like Jak.
