Lineart - Vodou Charm

Oh noes, the wicked voodoo priest has placed a spell on the plantation owner's daughter with his voodoo doll! Now he's using the charm to lure her, like a sleepwalker, away from her father's house in the dark of the night. Whatever shall befall on the poor, innocent maiden in his clutches?


I was watching the old horror film "I Walked with a Zombie" from the 40's (Wikipedia it!), and was suddenly struck by the scene where the priest summons Jessica, the doctor's wife through the voodoo doll.
Was it just me, or did it have a ridiculous amount of 'forced seduction'-subtext?

I thought about coloring this, but now I don't like the composition too much anymore. The idea still intrigues me, though, so I might redraw the whole thing later.
