Light the darkness

Da-yum, I actually did it. I've lost count on how many times in the past three days I've felt like just giving up on this thing, but here it is.

Two previously unseen characters of mine, Krys the fuzzy and Serq the girly boy. (Yes, boy. Honest.) I'm still working on their story and trying to figure out how they would best fit in with the rest of my characters, but I'm leaning towards the assumption that they're from the same universe as my catgirl sisters, Medetai and Inada.

The whole pic was really done just for the want of drawing glowy stuff, and I tossed in some highlight practise while I was at it. I've never tried shading & highlighting with two different colored lightsources before, so maybe I did learn something.
