Ok, i'll be the first to admit: drawing bad guys isn't exactly my forte. I'm trying to get better, however, and one part of the process is going over what I do know about the subject. I thought I'd post my thoughts and observations, just in case they might help someone else.
Plus, it was loads of fun to draw evil variations of my characters.
Wow.... that's so true, but I've never thought about it. And you're so good at those facial details, getting moods and emotions in there with just a few pencil lines.
I think, the bad guys that scare me most are the ones who carry themselves like goodguys- but do horrendous things. Any villian who can get a little kid to trust them... that's about as evil as it gets.
Very good points and very useful, too! One of the best tutorials I've seen because of the way it teaches the power of the details in creating character.
*claps* Great job! I'm happy you posted this, your observations could indeed be usefull as they are well explained. Awesome job on making evil versions of your characters, they're very well done.
ps: I have a thing for the manic look <.< Rawr. Pain and pleasure go well together you know.. *glomps evil lookin' uni guy*
Yeah that about sums it up if you ask me
