frisket17 did these holy-momma-so-awesome voodoo flavoured horses. And since I' always just waiting for an excuse to draw something in warm, spicy earthtones and with ethnic accessories, I was jumping the bandwagon almost before it came by. But instead of horses my muse booted in one of my oldest dragon characters, Miranda. It's been a while since I've drawn anything dragonic, so I just shrugged and went with it. The result is actually more african than creole/cajun, but it's okay, it's still pretty.
That background was, in a word, bitch. I couldn't bear to slap something I liked so much on a plain white bg, but I couldn't find a color that didn't one way or the other eat the effect of the actual picture. So finally I just smacked something in and let it be.
The only bad thing is, now I can't imagine Miranda without a jamaican accent anymore.
