Full view, people. I don't say that often, so you should be able to figure that when I do, I mean it.

Yea, okay, so...
Both *hellcorpceo and *frisket17 did these holy-momma-so-awesome voodoo flavoured horses. And since I' always just waiting for an excuse to draw something in warm, spicy earthtones and with ethnic accessories, I was jumping the bandwagon almost before it came by. But instead of horses my muse booted in one of my oldest dragon characters, Miranda. It's been a while since I've drawn anything dragonic, so I just shrugged and went with it. The result is actually more african than creole/cajun, but it's okay, it's still pretty.

That background was, in a word, bitch. I couldn't bear to slap something I liked so much on a plain white bg, but I couldn't find a color that didn't one way or the other eat the effect of the actual picture. So finally I just smacked something in and let it be.

The only bad thing is, now I can't imagine Miranda without a jamaican accent anymore.

That's beautiful and I can imagine this character's voice without an jamacain accent. ^^;

Great job on the background and the character.
See so many pictures with no background, just chars floating in white space.

Wow, when I saw that the title involved the word "Creole," I thought that what you really meant was Cajun. Needless to say, I was pleasantly suprised to find something with a Creole feel.

:blush: Actually, that's kinda sorta... accidental really. I have only the barest hint of what actually is the difference between the two. ^^;

Accident or not, I salute you. Creole is more African/Caribean; whereas, Cajun is more French/Acadian. Calling a Cajun Creole is akin to calling a Japanese Chinese as far as being offensive is concearned.
